Ho Ho Ho!

Greetings, boys and girls! Santa here, and you know what that means--presents! So, let's get right to the gift-giving:

  • For Members of Congress--A Sam's Wholesale Club-sized bottle of common sense in the hopes that it will stop them from demonizing the incentive market. Not every Corporate event is a boondoggle, guys...
  • For radio talk hosts (you know who you are)--a mouth gag. Either run for office or STFU. Quit yelping from the cheap seats and give us the benefit of your brilliance by actually contributing to the common good. You make me want to reconsider the First Amendment...
  • For the Promotional Products industry--some good news. It's been almost a year since they've had any.
  • For Corporate America--a spotting scope so they can see the longer view. Rewarding and recognizing your best and brightest is an INVESTMENT, not an EXPENSE. Ignoring it now will cost you later, take Santa's word on this...
  • For Reps in our business--some tire tread remover. They've been hit by multiple buses and yet they still get up.
  • For Retail Brands--vision correcting lenses. Being in this business is a good thing. It's Brand-enhancing. Don't keep giving it to third-parties that don't share your passion for the Brand. Do this yourselves...
And there's one last thing in the bag--and it's for everyone. A garbage bag--to put 2009 into. Let's put this year on the curb as soon as possible so we can get back to being productive contributors to society and quit ruminating on the End of the World.

So you hear me exclaim as I drive and be merry
"Merry Christmas to all, we'll see you in January!"...

Thanks Pete! Yes, I checked. And appreciate the garbage bag. I've never been so happy to kiss a year goodbye in my life! Merry Christmas to you!
